Carla | My best friend/My Sister | August 26, 2008 |
If someone's worth is measured by the amount of friends they have, then my friend was a very weathly woman. She lived her life giving of herself to everyone around her and that was a gift that will always be treasured. She always tried to make the best of a bad situation and made a good situation better. We shared everything...Good times and bad...I feel sorry for those she left behind, especially her kids. The gift of her friendship will last me a lifetime and I know that we will see each other again. Rest in peace my friend, you'll always be in my heart...Love Carla
Debbie | What a dear heart | August 26, 2008 |
I only knew you for a very short time, but wow you were so damn sweet and nice. You always had an encouraging word and always asking me,"how to make your kids lives better". Always a concerned parent a loving mother first and foremost. I met you at Curves and we became instant friends . You always had a smile on your face and always lent a helping hand , a warm embrace and total committment to a friendship. You were a very unique person in sickness and in health. You fought such a courageous fight to stay with your family, but god wanted you , he missed you, he needed you. He will always watch over your children for you because you are his heart and they are yours.
You will be dearly missed,

When I was younger you befriended me,
accepted me like a sister,
no matter how short the time came to be.
I spoke to you on occasion,
you were always so polite.
Always asking about the family,
you wanted to keep them tight.
Although your brother and I lasted for a short time,
you gave my daughters great love,
to me you were always very kind.
At Ashley's graduation your mom told me you were sick.
I tried to hold back the tears,
I didn't know what words to pick.
I could see Mary's worry
and almost feel her pain,
I watched as she struggled
to keep her emotions under quiet restrain.
When we spoke in December,
I apologized for calling so late.
I didn't want to think about
losing someone so great.
Remembering how you were a person
no one should've had ever cross.
We joked about it and when you questioned me I said
"Because Irene...You were just The Boss!"
I told you how you truly touched me
about the fond memories that came to mind...
And how I will always remember and especially never forget
your family at Christmastime.
Even in July you were think about others.
Worried about missing a party
thrown for a daughter of your brother's.
You said missing Ashley's sweet 16 was something that you hated,
telling me to explain it to her
your wanting to see her being so elated.
Two weeks have passed
since we last spoke.
In the hospital Lorraine laughed
becaused you passed a joke.
I whispered to you and kissed your right cheek,
not wanting you to strain
for it was hard for you to speak.
I knew you were going
and could tell you had no fear.
But your head was still focused
on those who you held dear.
Irene Cappello Lipariti
a woman with a beautiful face.
You filled the world with love
and had an unending grace.
Just a week has gone
since we learned of your passing.
But your effect on the whole
will be forever everlasting.
You were everyone's big sister, Nick's wife, loving daughter, phenomenal mother.
Caring aunt, special friend, and not to worry...
my daughters will take care of your younger brother.
We will grieve for you, we hated to see you suffer...
but it's like I said before and I'll say again,
HEAVEN JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT MORE TOUGHER!!!
We will miss you!
Love Sheila
