If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart...I'll stay there forever. ~ Winnie the Pooh

This memorial website was created, with love, to remember Irene Lipariti who was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 9, 1957 and passed away on August 18, 2008. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Irene was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teacher.  And she did all of those things so very well.  She was so generous of spirit, and judged no one.  She saw the good in everyone, even when no one else could.  She touched the lives of so many people in such positive ways.  She was always there to lend a helping hand, an encouraging word, or a plate of macaroni.  She gave of herself...from her heart...expecting nothing in return.

Even when she was losing her battle with cancer, her incredible strength, her courage, her determination, and her humor was a source of admiration for all of us who knew and loved her.  She will always be my hero!!  She will always be my friend.  She will always be in my heart, where no one will ever take her place.

I know she is now with the angels she loved...looking down on all of us...watching over us and protecting us.  Rest In Peace, our dearest Irene...you earned it!!

To Mommy

Lonely is the home without you, life for us is not the same;

All the world would be like Heaven, if we could have you back again.

 What she suffered she told but a few, she did not deserve what she went through,

tired and weary she made no fuss, but tried so hard to stay with us.

 Two tired eyes are sleeping, two willing hands are still;

The one who worked so hard for us, is resting at God's will.

Our lips cannot speak how we loved her, our hearts cannot tell what to say,

But God knows how much we missed her, in our home that is lonely today.

Our family chain is broken, nothing seems the same,

but as God calls us one by one, the links shall join again.

Mommy, We Love You.
